Fall of Caliphate to Rise of Khilafat

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, you hear this name whenever you think about the fall of caliphate. He was the founder and the first President of Republic of Turkey. An Ottoman Empire, known as Caliphate Usmaniya, a Muslim Superpower which was from Algeria to Baghdad, was crushed not by power allies but by the undefeated Ottoman commander Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. March 3, 1924 Caliphate was abolished when the last caliph was Abdul Medjit who was sent to exile by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk,who wrote to Abdul Medjit that your office, the Khilafat, is no more than a historic relic.

Pakistan To America: Back Off

Pakistan To America: Back Off
Why did Richard Halbrooke, always arrogant and calm, appear shaken today in Islamabad? Read this exclusive report by Ahmed Quraishi ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—For the first time in a long time, the Pakistani government managed to turn heads in Washington by saying all things America doesn’t want to hear: Islamabad will not allow the United States to expand its war inside Pakistan, won’t allow U.S. boots on the ground, and CIA better stop its drone attacks ASAP. If this was not enough, the ISI chief reportedly refused to meet top U.S. officials and a former air force chief announced that the Pakistani Air Force is just a green signal away from shooting down CIA’s drones and that it only awaited orders from the President and the Prime Minister. The week certainly did not start auspiciously for Mr. Richard Holbrooke, Washington’s arrogant special envoy who appeared visibly shaken yesterday in Islamabad. Apparently after getting used to apologetic Pakistani government officials, the sudden change of mood in the Pakistani capital was not something the seasoned diplomat anticipated. He was either too self-assured or was fed wrong reports by U.S. diplomats based in Pakistan. All of this coincided with another major news story: the former Chief of the Pakistani Air Force, Air Chief Marshal (retired) Kaleem Saadat, came out on television yesterday night to decisively settle all speculation about what Pakistan can do to stop repeated U.S. violations of Pakistani airspace through the CIA-operated drones. ‘Yes, we can shoot them down,’ Saadat told Express News, throwing to the dustbin repeated statements by the defense minister and other ministers in the pro-U.S. elected government over the past months where these officials claimed Pakistan did not have the technology required to shoot down U.S. spy planes that violate Pakistani airspace. Those statements disappointed a majority of Pakistanis who look up to their military, one of the best in the world, to stand up for Pakistan. Saadat gave an example: Pakistani Air Force jets shot down a sophisticated, Israeli-manufactured drone that India sent deep inside Pakistan on Jan. 7, 2002. The Indo-Israeli spy plane was supposed to be undetectable and beyond the reach and the capabilities of Pakistan Air Force. The Indian military was stunned. It initially tried to feign ignorance but then had to grudgingly half-accept the truth. And even then it was surprising for Pakistanis how Britain and the United States failed to censure India for a confirmed act of war. ‘The U.S. drones are much bigger in size [in comparison to the Indo-Israeli plane],’ said Air Marshal Saadat, and hence easier to target. The former air chief left no doubt about who was failing in protecting Pakistani sovereignty. ‘The issue,’ said the former Chief of Air Staff, ‘is not military but a political one.’ This statement throws the ball in the court of the elected politicians who have long been suspected of quietly permitting Washington to mount missile attacks inside Pakistan. Saadat’s statement came a few hours after a joint press briefing in Islamabad where visiting U.S. officials appeared shaken and confused. Richard Holbrooke, America’s envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, appeared surprised at the friendly but firm and straightforward talk by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Qureshi was blunt, something new for a member of the Zardari-Gilani government. Mr. Qureshi went as far as snubbing President Obama, who had earlier said Pakistan would get “no blank checks” and the release of more U.S. aid would depend on how it dealt with terrorism. In response, Qureshi turned to both Holbrooke and Mullen who shared the stage with him and firmly said: “It works both ways. We’ll neither accept one nor will we give one”. Mr. Qureshi also said a “gap” existed between Islamabad and Washington on the problem of CIA-operated drones. IS SOMETHING CHANGING IN ISLAMABAD? The mood is changing in Pakistan and the United States is increasingly seen as a dishonest friend. One day before the arrival of Holbrooke and Mullen, the leader of the main opposition party in the country, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi of PML, told a press conference that his party favored rejecting U.S. aid if the trade off is to give up Pakistan’s national interest. This was the first call by any major Pakistani political party head to turn down the much needed U.S. financial assistance. During the talk show where the former Chief of Air Staff Kaleem Saadat spoke, the other two panelists, a retired Army General and a retired Foreign Secretary, shared similar misgivings regarding the U.S. policy toward Pakistan. Although not stated openly, but Pakistani officials are seriously concerned about mounting circumstantial evidence indicating the U.S. is actually using Afghanistan which it occupies since late 2001 as a base for spreading terrorism and mayhem inside neighboring Pakistan. The suspicions are especially centered on evidence that someone in Afghanistan is pumping trained operatives and saboteurs in the garb of Islamic militants inside Pakistan. These operatives and agents then go about spreading death and destruction in the name of ‘Pakistani Taliban’. There are also serious questions about why the CIA drones fail to attack shadowy militant leaders inside Pakistani tribal zone whose main mission is to attack and kill Pakistanis. In comparison, the Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan focus on fighting the occupation forces and have never advocated attacking Pakistani interests despite Islamabad having ditched them seven years ago. Exploiting religious terrorism is one dimension of the problem. There is even more evidence that Afghan soil is also being used to spread ethnic and sectarian tensions inside Pakistan and recruit, train and sponsor separatists for this purpose. The sudden rise since 2005 of well armed and funded insurgent groups and death squads along Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan, where they never existed before, and their continued finances and arms supplies despite a blockade by Pakistani security, all of this has poisoned Pakistani perception toward the U.S. role in Afghanistan. Most of the evidence regarding anti-Pakistani activities in Afghanistan is linked to the huge presence of Indian intelligence in that country disguised as diplomats and social workers. This, many Pakistanis believe, cannot happen without U.S. consent at some level. Some Pakistanis gave the U.S. the benefit of doubt on this point, arguing that the Indians were exploiting Afghan mess to drive a wedge between Washington and Islamabad. One way to do this, they argued, was to indirectly arm and finance terrorists posing as Taliban to carry out attacks inside Pakistan. But after repeatedly bringing this to the attention of the highest levels of government in Washington without any result, it is quite clear that someone in the U.S. capital is condoning or maybe even permitting what the Indians and their Karzai puppets are doing there. It is quite obvious that Washington, or ‘non-state actors’ in the U.S. capital, are pursuing an agenda that exceeds what is stated publicly by U.S. officials with regards to Afghanistan. In fact, former Chief of Army Staff Gen. Mirza Aslam Baig wrote a paper as far back as 2007 that listed locations inside Afghanistan where U.S. or some of its allies have established intelligence outposts focused on penetrating four nations that share borders with or are close to Afghanistan. These four nations are Russia, China, Iran and Pakistan. In mid 2007, both Ahmed Quraishi and Zaid Hamid, two Pakistani policy commentators, raised eyebrows when the state-run PTV News aired shows featuring the two criticizing what they said were early signs that someone was using Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan and that the U.S. was either involved or was turning a blind eye as India and pro-Indian former Afghan communist officials who sit in key positions in Kabul exported terrorism to Pakistan. The television shows led to queries from within different parts of the Pakistani government on whether there has been some subtle change in the policy that was being pursued then by President Musharraf. In November 2007, Quraishi authored a report that said that the next logical step for the severe destabilization seen in Pakistan that year would be a high-value assassination of either President Musharraf or Benazir Bhutto, the two key leaders in Pakistan at the time, which would spin Pakistan out of control. That would be the natural next move for interested to terminally cripple the country. Truly enough, Ms. Bhutto was assassinated a month later and her violent murder almost led to a revolt in one of the four federating provinces of Pakistan. It was a miracle that Pakistan was not sent into a tailspin, a testament to the strength and endurance of this nation despite heavy odds. All of this serves to highlight that Pakistani grievances against the United States, which the British and American media deliberately hide from their people, run back in time and are not the result of recent events in the Pakistani tribal zone. IS ZARDARI-GILANI GOVT. SERIOUS IN CONFRONTING MR. HOLBROOKE & ADM. MULLEN? The performance of Foreign Minister Qureshi certainly was a welcome surprise for many skeptics who had all but given up on the Zardari-Gilani government taking any stand on Pakistan’s legitimate interests when it came to American policy in Afghanistan. And the reason is simple. This government owes its existence and power to direct U.S. support. U.S. is using Pakistani democracy as a Trojan horse, playing off one set of politicians against the other and then using all of them against the military. There have been reports for some time now that certain departments within the U.S. government have been conducting ‘private foreign policies’ directly with the families that control Pakistani political parties. Some of the leaders of these families were invited to secret visits to Washington as part of this confidential dialogue. Mr. Holbrooke and Adm. Mullen are good examples of this American manipulation of key Pakistani political players. Both of them, and especially Mr. Holbrooke, would come to Pakistan and separately meet senior Pakistani politicians alone, each one separately, and often inside the fortified U.S. embassy compound to avoid the preying eyes of Pakistani media and also Pakistani intelligence. He would also make sure to meet the Pakistani President, Prime Minister, Army chief, ISI chief, and whoever else mattered, and all of them separately, and then play one party against the other, a sort of an improvement on the old British method of divide and rule. Another sign of manipulation is the Zardari-Nawaz rivalry. When President Zardari began to appear weak, the Americans leaked a story – through the usual mouthpieces NYT and WSJ quoting no names – that “U.S. officials” were considering getting closer to Nawaz Sharif. The story was obviously meant to throw fuel on the fire of the cutthroat internal Pakistani politics and increase domestic instability by playing on the insecurities of the two key players. While Mr. Zardari’s closeness to the Americans is indisputable [last week Dubai’s Gulf News reported Mr. Zardari met secretly with Mr. Holbrooke in the emirate without the knowledge of any Pakistani official or diplomat, except the organizer of the meeting Mr. Husain Haqqani, Pakistan’s envoy to Washington, who is sarcastically referred to in Islamabad’s drawing rooms as ‘Washington’s envoy to Pakistan’], Mr. Nawaz Sharif is the new surprise. While he disagrees with President Obama’s policies in public, Mr. Sharif hurried to Islamabad on Tuesday to meet Mr. Holbrooke at the U.S. embassy compound. Why would Mr. Sharif present himself to the Americans privately as an alternative partner while keeping a nationalistic posture in public is something that only Mr. Sharif can explain. This American manipulation of Pakistani politicians, in and out of government, means there is little chance most of these politicians would really want to get tough with Washington. Foreign Minister Qureshi’s newfound assertive tone has probably more to do with restlessness within the Pakistani strategic community, which consists of civilian and military policy analysts, that is apparently beginning to prevail upon both the Pakistani Foreign Office and the Pakistani military to do something when the government appears incapable or unwilling to stand up for Pakistani interests. That’s one way of explaining the reports of how ISI chief refused to meet Mr. Holbrooke and Adm. Mullen despite the duo’s request. [The ISI chief did not meet Mr. Holbrooke alone but did meet the U.S. official along with the Army chief.] But there is another reason for this. Some Pakistani officials were determined this time not to allow Mr. Holbrooke to meet senior Pakistani officials separately. An intra-agency meeting, bringing top officials from several federal departments was scheduled for Monday, before Mr. Holbrooke’s arrival. The brainstorming session was supposed to bring minds together from the Foreign Office, the Interior, the military and others in order to present a unified Pakistani response to American policies. But the meeting failed to materialize because Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, tired from a range of foreign trips throughout last week, was resting in his hometown in Multan and failed to show up for the meeting, which then was called off. But Mr. Qureshi surprised the observers with his performance in the press conference with Mr. Holbrooke and Adm. Mullen. The Pakistani Foreign Minister was poised and assertive. It was a good show for one day. The best way to achieve something for the long run, however, is to match the rhetoric with some actions. If the ISI chief did indeed refuse meeting U.S. officials [he did attend Holbrook’s meeting with the Army chief] then this is the first of a series of steps that Pakistan needs to take to ensure that Washington understands it cannot pursue a selfish policy of achieving its own goals in the region while Pakistan’s interests get trampled in the process. Can’t Pakistan Take A Stand on A Dying Woman Abused By US?

Can’t Pakistan Take A Stand on A Dying Woman Abused By US?

Surrendered by Musharraf and almost abandoned by Zardari and Nawaz and a long list of US apologists in a nation seething with anger, isn’t it time for Pakistan’s rulers to take a stand? US, Britain and India top the list of countries where Pakistani citizens are abused as a state policy. Imagine 60 Indians or Americans or Brits burned alive on Pakistani soil? It happened to us but our failed rulers have hushed it because they can’t stand up for national honor. War on terror or not, the policy of humiliating Pakistanis must come to an end.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—If Americans and the Brits show little respect for Pakistani citizens today, it is because Pakistani rulers refuse to take a stand on national pride. Pakistanis have been rotting in Indian and Afghan jails, but Pakistan’s incumbent president honors Karzai by inviting him for his inauguration party. Indians send dead bodies of Pakistani prisoners and all we do is release Indian terrorists convicted of killing Pakistani citizens under Indian-sponsored terrorism, instead of sending them to the gallows.

The governments of the United States and the United Kingdom have been deliberately humiliating Pakistan by targeting Pakistani students at will, in some cases framing Pakistanis in fake cases. It’s one way of giving Pakistan more bad press and putting pressure for more Pakistani concessions.

But with the case of this dying Pakistani woman, Pakistan has a chance to correct one more wrong that we have accepted in this so-called war on terror.

Just as the Pakistani military has forced the United States to review its wrong policy of trampling on Pakistani interests in the region and paying lip service to us while empowering India, it is time that the Americans – and also the Brits and the Indians, as I explain below – be firmly warned that humiliating Pakistan and Pakistanis as part of United States’ post-9/11 policy will not be tolerated.

I mention the military because Pakistanis have little faith that their politicians, who often play the role of apologists for the US and UK, will ever take a stand for Pakistan’s interest. Those politicians who do are not in power.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s case reeks of anti-Pakistanism that Washington has practiced for the past eight years while courting Pakistan as an ally in the war for the occupation of Afghanistan.

Dr. Aafia’s latest pictures show a dying woman ruthlessly tortured by Americans in US custody. Two of her three children, kidnapped with her from Pakistan’s streets, are missing.

It shames most Pakistanis to think that, while she was tortured and possibly raped by Americans in Afghanistan for years, the government of former President Pervez Musharraf did little to raise a voice for her and other Pakistanis who probably continue to rot in various US-run jails and dungeons in Afghanistan. President Zardari, opposition leader Nawaz Sharif, and a long list of Pakistani politicians have barely raised her case in their interactions with US officials.

We understand the constraints of our politicians. Their money and properties are in London and New York. In fact, they count on US support to remain in power and not be removed by the military or by the people of Pakistan. That’s why instead of boycotting US diplomats in solidarity with Dr. Aafia, US Ambassador Anne Patterson and other US diplomats continue to receive generous treatment in Pakistani circles. Last week Pakistani websites circulated pictures of known Pakistani journalists dancing away at a private party at the US Embassy, in a country where US drones have killed close to 1,000 Pakistani women and children while ‘successfully’ targeting some 20 low-level terrorists.

Betrayed and abandoned by her own, Dr. Aafia was saved not by Pakistan but by Yvonne Ridly, a British journalist.

Yet the official Pakistani reaction remains lazy and apologetic. The government of Asif Zardari is now funding Dr. Aafia’s lawyers. But how complacent the government has been can be judged from the fact that Prime Minister Yusaf Raza Gilani had to personally telephone Pakistan’s ambassador in Washington Husain Haqqani last week to ask him to expedite the effort to secure Dr. Aafia’s release and provide ‘daily updates’ on her case.

A QUESTION OF HONOR

For eight years, Washington deceived Pakistan as it consolidated the position of India and other anti-Pakistan warlords in Afghanistan. The Americans showed insensitivity bordering on disdain as they trampled on legitimate Pakistani strategic and security interests. The US media single-handedly demonized Pakistan and created a false global alarm over Pakistan’s nuclear assets.

During the same period, Pakistanis have been abused as a state policy in the United States and Britain. No other countries in the world abuse Pakistanis like US and UK.

Adnan Mirza is a Pakistani student in Houston who is in jail for the past several years, without evidence, in a case where undercover FBI agents pretending to be Muslims joined him in a hiking trip and planted evidence to arrest him as a potential terrorist. US refuses to release the kid depite the lack of any credible evidence. In the UK, Prime Minister Gordon Brown lied to his own people last year about an alleged ‘big terrorist plot’. His government rounded up innocent Pakistani students and ruined their lives just to build British public’s support for sending more troops to Afghanistan.

In 2006, Indian intelligence officers and Hindu fundamentalists burned 60 Pakistanis alive on Indian soil. The victims believed the peace talks between Pakistan and India and boarded the so-called ‘friendship train’ to visit that country, which was later attacked and burned. Pakistani government and politicians have failed to pursue that case. Can you believe this? Sixty Pakistanis burned alive and there’s no one to talk about it? Imagine if 60 Indians or Americans or Brits were burned alive in Pakistan aboard a train?

Pakistani inmates routinely return from Indian jails with severe mental disorders. All this abuse against Pakistanis and there isn’t as much as a squeak from Pakistan’s failed and inept rulers.

Pakistani government can change this. It can start with Dr. Aafia’s case and take a stand and demand US release her. We can retaliate. Let’s stop US military supply routes that run through Pakistan for a week.

It is time Pakistan warned the United States that Pakistanis will hold the US government responsible if Dr. Aafia dies as a result American torture.

The American policy if creating hostility against Pakistanis must come to an end.

No More!

No More!

Sourse : Ibn-e-Qasim | PKKH Exclusive

The time for a long awaited strategic decision time has finally arrived. Pakistan Military has clearly passed a Loud & Clear statement to Washington “NO MORE!”

According to reports, at a time when serious pressure was mounting on the Pakistani Government on behalf of the US to launch a new offensive in North Waziristan against the stronghold of Pro-Pakistan Taliban, the Armed Forces of Pakistan have rejected any prospect of a military operation in any part of the country. This decision is nothing short of a shock to the US after the attacks at Chapman base and Kabul. This series of events has highlighted the actual battlefield, which seems to be drifting towards Pakistan’s tribal belt , and has been orchestrated by the notorious trio of CIA, Mossad and RAW; ‘the real axis of evil’.

The nefarious Intelligence agencies that have organized and lead the looting and genocide of millions of people in peaceful and poor nations in the name of War on Terror have done so in order to capitalize on the resources that these countries have. These same entities are now in coalition with NATO and the US Forces to neutralize Pakistan’s Army and its nuclear capability, for they know that these Pakistani assets are the ultimate threat to the existence of the apartheid and terrorist state of Israel. The 9/11 attacks in 2001 were the starting point for a sophisticated and long-term war in this region.

A glance at the unfolding of historic achievements in the times of Prophet Muhammad PBUH makes it obvious that these events are extremely relevant to what we see in Pakistan and the world today. It seems that history is on the verge of repeating itself.

When Medina was quickly becoming a threat to the Super Powers of that time, and the wars of Badr and Uhud proved that Muhammad PBUH and his men were a force to be reckoned with, the leaders of Quraish gathered and built a ‘coalition’ of 10000 well equipped men and attacked Medina. It was in fact a combined raid by many of the Arab tribes who wanted to crush the power of Medina. This was the battle of Ahzaab, also called the battle of Khandaq (ditch) as the Muslims dug a ditch around Medina to check the advance of the enemy.

There were many hypocrites among the Muslims who circulated frightening rumors. The Holy Qur’an tells us of the psychological crisis with which the Muslims lived during that period:
Behold! They came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes grew wild and the hearts gaped up to the throats, and ye imagined various (vain) thoughts about Allah! In that situation the believers were tried: They were shaken with a mighty Shock. And behold! The hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is disease (even) say: Allah and His Apostle promised us nothing but delusion! Behold! A party among them said: O people of Yathrib (Medina), you cannot stand (the attack), therefore turn back! And a band of them ask for leave of the Prophet, saying: Truly our houses are bare and exposed though they were not exposed; they intended nothing but to flee.” (33:10-13)

However, the words that were uttered by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the freezing winds of Medina during the Battle of Ahzaab were these:

Oh Allah, We wouldn’t be on the right path if you hadn’t blessed us , we wouldn’t have given charity or prayed either, bestow upon us calmness and make us stead fast when we engage in battle, these people have marched on us with oppression , when they plan to put us in a trial we become defiant and firm.”

The siege entered its 30th day. Despite many attempts the trenches surrounding Medina were not crossed and the enemy’s forces were planning a final destructive advance towards the Pak (Pure) Army of Muhammad SAW in the battle of Ahzaab. A coalition of thousands of Mushrikeen had gathered with their allies, with an intention to wipe out medina once and for all, and neutralize the emerging power within the heart of Arabia. The battle of Ahzaab was a decisive factor for the destiny of Muhammad SAW and Medina.

A reconnaissance mission was sent by the Supreme Commander (Prophet Muhammad SAW) of the Muslim forces which reported that the Quraish, shamed and disgusted at sensing their inevitable defeat, were stretched out and were planning a retreat. Their plans were shattered. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his men, despite being outnumbered by the enemy were turning out to be victorious. The ‘Coalition of the Tribes’ proved to be futile in their efforts to neutralize the Army of Islam. Apart from Divine help, this victory was achieved through tactical maneuvering and intelligence gathering by a brilliant Companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who confused and shook the trust of Jewish tribes of Bani Qurayzah and Mushrikeen.

And in the end a horrific wind blew towards the enemies of Allah and His Army of Mo’mineen, and a squadron of angels descended upon the believers to ensure their victory!
O you who have believed , remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to attack you and we sent upon them a wind and armies of angels that you did not see, and Allah always knows what you do” (33:9) Al-Quran.

This victory was very significant for Muslims, who were able to see their destiny after a lot of sacrifices. History is witness to the fact that few years after this decisive battle, the city of Makkah was liberated without fighting. Darkness gave way to the dawn of hope, peace and prosperity for the world, more specifically for the Arabian Peninsula.

While just a few years prior to these amazing events, the Muslims had left their wealth and their homes, their loved ones were slaughtered and they had to leave in the dark of the night, from the heartland of Arabia, and go into the dessert. And here they were, victorious at last, after a short span of almost 10 years. We must never forget that the men and women who so gloriously returned upon Fatah-e-Makkah had done so after crossing a sea of fire and blood. Yet, they had to sacrifice a lot more. However, it was their firm belief in the destiny that had been written for them that kept their devotion towards their mission and their spirits high.

What does this most fascinating chapter in history tell us?

The events of fourteen centuries ago were again repeated in the beginning of the 19th century. The Muslims of the subcontinent once again came under siege for that same centuries-old reason; their belief in the One and True God and their refusal to live as slaves under the British and Hindu raj. After it became apparent that they would be enslaved by a Hindu majority even if the British left India, they had no other option but to fight to preserve their future generations and their unique Muslim identity. Thus, on the Sunnah of the Holy prophet (PBUH), the modern-day state of Medina was established. Millions were slaughtered and made homeless but Pakistan (the Land of the Pure) was destined to be born and so it did.

The world never believed that this Medina-e-Sani would survive. Little did they know that not only will this idea, this Fort of Islam survive, it will also become a nuclear power and shall have one of the finest and most professional Armed Forces in the world to defend its borders. The Mushrikeen of today were once again proven wrong and despite setbacks in 1971, Pakistan still stands strong.

And as they did in the Battle of Ahzaab, once again ‘the coalitions’, amassed against us in 2001. They planned to neutralize the last Fort of Islam. In the battle of Ahzaab, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) gave his companions two choices; to fight in the streets of Medina or to move out of the city of war and to defend it. The true believers chose to move out of Medina and defend it.

Similarly, Pakistan had two choices: to fight the gathering armies in the streets of Pakistan or to defend the Fort. And so Pakistan made the same choice as the Muslims of Medina. The battle for Pakistan’s defense started in Helmand, Kandahar, Nooristan and Khost. It has become very clear that NATO and the United States never had anything of interest in the mountains of Afghanistan. They came for our nukes, our missiles, our tanks, our men who were trained to be the soldiers of Islam and this Ummah.

Once again we were threatened to be bombed back to stone age, to be forced into an economic quagmire. Since then, the Muslims of Medina-e-Sani have faced a lot of bloodshed, thousands have lost their lives. But the believers stand firm, and at last things have started to change. Although the conspiracies are severe and our columns have been plagued by traitors, Allah and His Apostle (PBUH) are implementing His plans for this nation. The ‘purification’ has already begun, we are moving ferociously towards our destined victory and once again the ‘coalition of the Tribes’ will be defeated. Insha’Allah.

We now learn through reports in the media that the Zionist agenda is sinking amidst the roar of Takbeer in the mountains of Kabul. The Armies of Angels shall descend, and the storm has started to brew.

The victory in Afghanistan will give peace to the world, and the systems and powers feeding on the blood of innocents will shatter into pieces. Just like the mighty USSR, knelt before the courageous Mujahideen of Afghanistan two decades ago, the modern-day Crusaders will be returned to where they came from, in shame and without honour.

In Pakistan also, the tide is turning. By refusing to wage war against the Pakistan friendly elements in North Waziristan, Pakistan Army has now officially taken a stand against the American dictation of our foreign policy or how we run our country. The traitors in our midst, our so called rulers, will be history soon as they now have nowhere to hide from the cases being built against them. Most importantly, a huge patriotic movement, the likes of which have never been seen after the pre-partition Pakistan Movement, is building in present day Pakistan and there is no stopping this great tsunami.

The time has come for Haq to prevail and Batil to perish. The Caravan of Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) is preparing to once again shake the Heavens and the Earth with their courage and their splendor. Tyranny will be abolished, idols will be shattered. Peace and justice for humanity will once again get precedence over material gains and notions of profit and loss.

A new horizon is about to manifest itself, and those who are fortunate enough to have the vision will see this most amazing destiny unfold. The Lashkars are gathering, the time is near and a new chapter in the history of humanity is about to be written. The enemy can hear the roar of Pakistani Lions, for we are ready to embrace this great destiny.

Another Slap On The Face For ‘Aman Ki Asha’

Another Slap On The Face For ‘Aman Ki Asha’ Apologists

Source:pakistankakhudahafiz

The great ‘Aman Ki Asha’ inspired love affair between Pakistan and India has just been hit by a bus and chances are that it won’t survive. This came as all of the 11 Pakistani cricketers, most of them from the T20 Worldcup winning side last year were kept out of the third edition of the Indian Premiere League including all-rounder Shahid Afridi who was the highest rated player expected to be the most expensive. This is truly astonishing given that Pakistan is the reigning World Twenty20 champion, and their exclusion devalues the entire competition. What a huge loss for cricket and what utter disappointment for millions of fans. Given that the World Champions are not to be seen in action, it is only logical to say that this makes the IPL anything but ‘World Class’.

Despite the great love story being sold to the people of Pakistan and India by their respective media, there is still not enough love in the world that can hide the hypocrisy and two-facedness that has always characterized India’s dealing with her neighbour. This is just the icing on the cake. It is also very interesting to note that despite the violent attacks on Indian nationals on Australian soil, and the threats issued by the militant Hindu extremist outfit Shiv Sena against Australians playing in India, the Indians were more than happy to have a love-in with the Aussies at IPL. One cannot help but think that this says a lot for the Indian national pride and sense of solidarity with their counterparts being humiliated and abused by the Australians.

Given the threats being issued by Hindu fanatics against foreign players visiting India, it is perhaps a really good thing that Pakistani players are not going to be put in a position where their lives might be at risk from extremist elements and religious fanatics. While the great Bollywood soap opera called ‘Aman ki Asha’ meets an unhappy yet predictable ending, Pakistanis must now realize that the only ‘goodwill gestures’ they will ever receive from across the border are; covert terrorism on its land, caskets of Pakistani prisoners tortured to death in Indian jails for overstaying visas, and poorly disguised threats of war.

UPDATE: Shahid Afridi, Captain of Pakistan’s T20 Team has blasted the IPL over today’s debacle, calling it a carefully orchestrated ‘insult’ to the Pakistani nation and vowing never to participate in the competition in future. Shahid Afridi, who led Pakistan to last year’s T20 World Championship in England, was expected to be the most expensive player in today’s bidding before Pakistani players were sensationally snubbed.

Elite Us Troops Ready To Combat Pakistani Nuclear Hijacks

Source: pakistankakhudahafiz

The propaganda against Pakistan’s nukes continues. Now that the US/Indian backed terrorists have recieved a kicking by the Pakistan Army, the attention is turning to the so called ‘Extremist elements within the Pakistani security establishment, Army/ISI’.

The US army is training a crack unit to seal off and snatch back Pakistani nuclear weapons in the event that militants, possibly from inside the country’s security apparatus, get their hands on a nuclear device or materials that could make one.

The specialised unit would be charged with recovering the nuclear materials and securing them.

The move follows growing anti-Americanism in Pakistan’s military, a series of attacks on sensitive installations over the past two years, several of which housed nuclear facilities, and rising tension that has seen a series of official complaints by US authorities to Islamabad in the past fortnight.

“What you have in Pakistan is nuclear weapons mixed with the highest density of extremists in the world, so we have a right to be concerned,” said Rolf Mowatt-Larssen, a former CIA officer who used to run the US energy department’s intelligence unit. “There have been attacks on army bases which stored nuclear weapons and there have been breaches and infiltrations by terrorists into military facilities.”

Professor Shaun Gregory, director of the Pakistan security research unit at Bradford University, has tracked a number of attempted security breaches since 2007. “The terrorists are at the gates,” he warned.

In a counterterrorism journal, published by America’s West Point military academy, he documented three incidents. The first was an attack in November 2007 at Sargodha in Punjab, where nuclearcapable F-16 jet aircraft are thought to be stationed. The following month a suicide bomber struck at Pakistan’s nuclear airbase at Kamra in Attock district. In August 2008 a group of suicide bombers blew up the gates to a weapons complex at the Wah cantonment in Punjab, believed to be one of Pakistan’s nuclear warhead assembly plants. The attack left 63 people dead.

A further attack followed at Kamra last October. Pakistan denies that the base still has a nuclear role, but Gregory believes it does. A six-man suicide team was arrested in Sargodha last August.

Fears that militants could penetrate a nuclear facility intensified after a brazen attack on army headquarters in Rawalpindi in October when 10 gunmen wearing army uniforms got inside and laid siege for 22 hours. Last month there was an attack on the naval command centre in Islamabad.

Pakistani police said five Americans from Washington who were arrested in Pakistan last month after trying to join the Taliban were carrying a map of Chashma Barrage, a complex in Punjab that includes a nuclear power facility.

The Al-Qaeda leadership has made no secret of its desire to get its hands on weapons for a “nuclear 9/11”.

“I have no doubt they are hell-bent on acquiring this,” said Mowatt-Larssen. “These guys are thinking of nuclear at the highest level and are approaching it in increasingly professional ways.”

Nuclear experts and US officials say the biggest fear is of an inside job amid growing anti-American feeling in Pakistan. Last year 3,021 Pakistanis were killed in terrorist attacks, more than in Afghanistan, yet polls suggest Pakistanis consider the United States to be a greater threat than the Taliban.

“You have 8,000-12,000 [people] in Pakistan with some type of role in nuclear missiles — whether as part of an assembly team or security,” said Gregory. “It’s a very large number and there is a real possibility that among those people are sympathisers of terrorist or jihadist groups who may facilitate some kind of attack.”

Pakistan is thought to possess about 80 nuclear warheads. Although the weapons are well guarded, the fear is that materials or processes to enrich uranium could fall into the wrong hands.

“All it needs is someone in Pakistan within the nuclear establishment and in a position of key access to become radicalised,” said MowattLarssen. “This is not just theoretical. It did happen — Pakistan has had inside problems before.”

Bashir Mahmood, the former head of Pakistan’s plutonium reactor, formed the Islamic charity Ummah Tameer-e-Nau in March 2000 after resigning from the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission. He was arrested in Islamabad on October 23, 2001, with his associate Abdul Majeed for alleged links to Osama Bin Laden.

Pakistan’s military leadership, which controls the nuclear programme, has always bristled at the suggestion that its nuclear facilities are at risk. The generals insist that storing components in different sites keeps them secure.

US officials refused to speak on the record about American safety plans, well aware of how this would be seen in Islamabad. However, one official admitted that the United States does not know where all of Pakistan’s storage sites are located. “Don’t assume the US knows everything,” he said.

Although Washington has provided $100m worth of technical assistance to Islamabad under its nuclear protection programme, US personnel have been denied access to most Pakistani nuclear sites.

In the past fortnight the US has made unprecedented formal protests to Pakistan’s national security apparatus, warning it about fanning virulent anti-American sentiment in the media.

Concerns about hostility towards America within elements of the Pakistani armed forces first surfaced in 2007. At a meeting of military commanders staged at Kurram, on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, a Pakistani major drew his pistol and shot an American. The incident was hushed up as a gunfight.
